Iron and steel sector is the primary target of the EU CBAM regulation. CBAM covers a wide range of iron and steel products, such as pig iron, ferro-alloys, flat-rolled products, stainless steel, railway truck construction material, tubes, pipes and fittings, steel tanks and reservoirs. Overall, CBAM would cover 88% of EU steel imports, amounting to approximately 46.6 bln EUR

Feritilizers

Fertilizers are one of the key EU imports, and, being a product of limited sourcing availability and subject to higher political attention recently, they become an important part of the CBAM framework. CBAM covers all types of nitrogen fertilisers (including urea, urea ammonium nitrate, calcium ammonium nitrate and other popular solutions), compound fertilisers (mainly MAP, DAP and NPK)
